Smiles Uses Xylitol
The “Smiles” team has a new flavor. Xylitol is an all natural sweetner extracted from fruit and vegetable fibers. It is being placed as a sweetner in chewing gum, breath mints, infant oral drops and in oral wipes. Studies have shown that Xylitol can reduce the amounts of harmful, cavity causing bacteria when used in therapeutic doses.
