As a pediatric dentist, I believe that true healing happens when care is guided with heart 💛 🧡 💛 and technology 🤖. When a sweet 2-year-old girl came to us after losing her front tooth 🦷 from trauma and infection, her parents were understandably distraught. They weren’t just worried about her smile—they cared deeply about her confidence, comfort, and joy.
Traditional replacements for toddlers in pediatric dentistry are often too invasive, too bulky, metal-based and not made with a child’s emotional and physical needs in mind. So we did something different.
Using digital scanning , CAD design, and SprintRay 3D printing technology, we created a custom, no-prep pediatric cantilever bridge—delicate, biocompatible, growth-friendly and completely metal-free. She was taken care of in her parent’s lap the entire time. A gentle approach that holds heart, precision, and a bit of 3D magic ✨.
In simple, short steps, we restored her smile—and with it, her spirit.
This wasn’t just about a tooth. It was about reaffirming confidence , comfort, and connection during a critical moment in a child’s development.
💫 If you're a parent navigating how to help your toddler that is missing a front tooth due to cavities or pediatric tooth trauma, or a parent of a child that is seeking gentler pediatric dental solutions, or a dental practitioner that would like to collaborate on these solutions, I’m here to tell you: the future is already here—and it’s guided with heart and technology .
Let’s give children every reason to smile again. 💛 😊
